SAT Subject Tests

So we all know that Gtown use to require 3 subject tests, but now they just "strongly recommend". I know that basically means it'd be in your best interest to submit the tests, but I didn't. Did any other Hoya hopeful neglect to submit 3 subject tests?

Oh and here's the article about doing away with subject test requirements: http://www.college-focus.com/files/September%202010%20newsletter.pdf

I sent in all of my sat test scores…

Did you not submit three, or did you not submit any?

i believe i only submitted two… or maybe just one
but i got in EA so i dont think they mandated three for me

^EA applicants aren’t required to have finished their testing by the EA deadline. So an EA applicant may have fewer SAT Subject Tests, but an RD applicant will need three. Consider strongly recommend to mean require.

I didn’t submit any and was admitted early–I think it’ll be okay! Good luck!

I applied RD with two…

RD with two too!

I applied EA with 3, and they were pretty good scores too! Got deferred :frowning: But we’ll hear back soon!

^ oh no, confidence de-booster :(

RD with three… So nervous about decision letters… Does anyone know when they actually send them out?

I was deferred EA with two, then sent a third and a higher retake of one of the original two for RD.

Letters should arrive some time next week. Last year, they started arriving on the 29th, so look for them in the surrounding days.
