Sat subject tests

Okay so most of the schools I am applying to require EITHER the ACT+ writing or the SAT + 2 subject tests

Someone told me recently that I should take the subject tests even though I plan on only submitting my ACT score

Do I have to take them?

You don’t HAVE to take them, but you might as well try a few in your strong subject areas just to see how you do. If you do well, they will be a nice thing to add to your application.

I would take them just to see, but if you don’t feel like taking any more standardized testing, they aren’t necessary.

If none of the places you are applying to specifically require an SAT Subject exam, then you can safely take the ACT plus writing. It will save you a lot of stress, and a fair amount of money.

I submitted the act and my sat 2s
