Are they needed to get in? I think I'm a fairly competitive applicant already (35 ACT, 4.0 GPA UW, good cluster of committed ECs, great recs, unique essay, ED applicant, etc.) and I'm just wondering how important these are to admission at WashU. Has anyone gotten in without them? Will they "make or break" you?

Thanks!

//Do I need to take any of the SAT Subject Tests (SAT IIs) to apply to Washington University?
Washington University does not require SAT Subject Tests (formerly SAT II: College Board Achievement Tests). However, if you do take them and submit your scores, we will only consider them if they strengthen your application.//

I submitted SAT IIs but I had a lower ACT score than you and applied RD. I think you should be fine :). I hope to see you in 2012!
