SAT subject tests

Hi all, does anybody know if GS requires applicants to take any SAT subject tests, in addition to the essential minimum of the SAT Reasoning Test? Even if the subject tests are optional, will the admissions committee treat the application more favorably if you have subject scores to report? Thanks!

They don’t require them. You can absolutely send them in, and I’m sure if they’re good they’ll be looked upon favorably.

I thought they required two subject tests in any field…and then SEAS requires chemistry/physics and math…or am I wrong…?

GS ≠ CC. GS has its own application that’s very different. [School of General Studies - WikiCU, the Columbia University wiki encyclopedia](School of General Studies - WikiCU, the Columbia University wiki encyclopedia)

They dont require them. But send it in if you have it because you will be forced to take the GS version of the SAT, which is basically the SAT anyway.
