On their website it says

"SAT Subject Test scores are not required when applying for admission. However, any information submitted as part of an applicants record, including any submitted test scores, may be considered during the evaluation of an individual application.

The university does use certain SAT Subject Tests for placement. Scores are used to determine which university courses are appropriate for entering students."

But then it also says,

"Applicants do not have to submit SAT Subject Test scores as part of the admissions application. However, some applicants choose to do so in hopes of attaining credit for required coursework. When we receive SAT Subject Test scores from a high school student, we set them aside until the application cycle is complete. If an applicant is admitted, credit is given for SAT Subject Tests based on established guidelines."

I'm confused, do they use SAT Subject Tests for admission?

Thank you.
