SAT Subject Tests

SAT subject tests are more or less based on what you learn in high school. Does it help to prepare from the official study guide books? or Give the tests based on what you have learnt in high schools?

Also do most people take subject tests more than once or just once?

There is study guide for Math I and Math II and then there is a study guide for all the remaining subject tests. Are those the two books you would need? What other books I need to get? I will be taking Math I and US history.

Math I: Barrons & Dr. Chungs. If you’re getting 600+ in those tests, you’ll get 700+ on the real test.

USH: Princeton Review, Amsco (if possible)

Most people take subject tests twice. Try not to exceed two. Tests are based from what you learned from high schools, but since there is no unified national curriculum, buy review books.

I have a little confusion with this. Does the above include section for Math I? or there is separate book for Math. I see college board has separate book for Math I and Math II. Does that mean the above study guide is good for all subject tests except Math.

You didn’t recommend to get official guide for Math subject test? Any reason for not recommending official math subject guide?
