SAT Subject Tests

Hello!
I decided to take the Subject Tests again in Math 2 and US History. Because Georgetown has a policy of sending all SAT subject test scores, will it hurt me if my scores are lower this time? Also, if I were to take more than three subject tests (Math 2, US History, Lang, World History) would it hurt me if three of them were 790ish and one was in the 600s?
Thanks for your time

I don’t think it would ‘hurt’ you if 3 were 790s and 1 was in the high 600s. As for the first scenario, it won’t look great if the scores are lower the second time to be honest (I know that’s hard to hear). In any case, admissions committees make every effort to consider what an applicant is doing well, not just looking for arbitrary reasons to reject them, so they will consider your 3 highest scores. Anything 750+ is a wonderful thing. (I’m guessing you haven’t got the 790ish scores yet? Get off College Confidential and study for them with Barron’s books! Posting here won’t get you into Georgetown and/or its peer institutions, but studying diligently over the summer very well could, in moderation of course as rest and rejuvenation is crucial to preventing burnout!)

Good luck! Don’t stress! Enjoy summer! Don’t get hooked on one school!

@Senior2016M
Thank you so much for your thoughtful advice :)!
Actually, I had gotten 790 in Math 2 and 780 in US History but the scores for the May exam were released after I took the June exams. I wasn’t expecting those scores so I had decided to retake them, though now I wish I would have waited.

Congratulations!!! Those are wonderful scores. You are in a very good position. Have a great summer and best of luck for your long awaited decisions!
