SAT Subject Tests

Hello. I plan to self study some sat subject tests like SAT math level 2 and take these tests in the junior year. However, my teacher strongly advises me to take these tests in my senior year because he feels I will not fully be prepared for these tests in my junior year. He says it's better to have more knowledge as time goes on so I can most likely do better in these tests in my senior year. What do you guys think? Should I take these SAT subject tests in my junior year so I'll have fewer tests to take in my senior year or just take these tests in my senior year with more knowledge to do these SAT subject tests.

It really depends on what subjects will you be taking in your Junior year.
It is the most common thing for Juniors to do to take the tests on June when their studying is done. If you will be taking Pre Calculus next year, Math IIc is going to be a piece of cake. If you are taking any AP classes, that subject also is going to be a piece of cake. Even if you are not taking a particular subject, the test still might be easy, like World History.
So, in conclusion, you are strongly recommended to take SAT Subject Tests at the end of your Junior year.
