Ok so I just got my scores for the two subject tests i took in October, chemistry and math, i got 710 and 760 respectively. Problem is i thought i would do bad on it so i already registered for November sat 2 test, but I don't really feel like going. First question: What happens if i don't go? does it show up as a 0 on my scores? or is it that i just did not attend and it just won't show anything for November, like there isnt even a section for November?

Questions 2: If I do go, and i dont do as well as i did, because in addition to chemistry and math, i will also be taking biology, does it hurt me? For example, I plan on applying to most of the UCs and USC. Will they only look at the top scores? I don't want a third testing to affect their decision for my acceptance.

Questions 3: When am i suppose to send in the score reports for my SAT 2 and SAT 1?

Question 4: Because i will be taking the test in November, should I write in a code for who i want it sent to? or something? because i will need to make the deadline, and i will only get the scores by the 26th, which is really cutting it close. Help please And thank you.

Nothing happens except you don’t get your money back. College Board never reports to any college that you ever even registered for the test. Failure to show up simply equals automatic cancellation.

UCs state that they use highest two if more than two SAT IIs are submitted. USC will consider any sent; however, it does not require SAT IIs and says it will use them in the evaluation only if it helps you.

UCs accept through Dec tests for admission (app deadline is not test date deadline). USC accepts Dec tests also. In fact, virtually every college accepts Dec tests for regular admission. If you order tests sent regular delivery by early Dec, you will have no issues, but nothing prevents your sending them before that if you desire.

See answer to 3, you can wait if you want to learn Nov scores before sending tests (and pay a $10 fee per college to do so), or use one of your free sends on the registration and send the score blind.

Also be aware: USC allows you to exercise score choice so you can withhold scores when sending. However, your high school likely reports all scores on your official high school transcript that is sent.

UCs require that you not to exercise score choice and thus send all scores. Nevertheless, unclear is what its rule is on the following: (a) you apply and order existing scores sent and don’t exercise score choice; (b) you later get new scores – not clear you have to send those, and in sending initial scores you complied with its rule not to exercise score choice.
