as the title says...

Got a 2100 the first time I took.

Studied like a nut.

Did 60 points worse.

I love the college board

This was years and years ago. Junior year I got a 480 on the math portion. Like everyone else back then around me, I didn’t do one lick of studying. Senior year I retook it and got a 640. (This was before the SAT was re-centered).

I got the equivalent of an 1800 on both my PSAT’s. An 1800 wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good enough to get me into the schools I wanted to get into. I decided my main study method would be practicing the College Board’s practice tests in the Blue Book. I ended up with a 2240 on the actual SAT. I’m pretty sure if I didn’t study and had stayed at the 1800 level, I wouldn’t have been accepted to the school I’ve decided to attend (think HYP).

Basically, you can improve your score, and pretty easily, too. Just take a bunch of practice tests so that you familiarize yourself with the format and types of questions. You can do it!

I got a 154, a 176, and then a 193 each year I took the PSAT, respectively. On the first real test in March, I got a 2130.

i started with a 143 on the peat, i never really studied, went from a 1540 -1760, just believe in yourself and study, take courses dont follow my steps i should have tried harder

I took the SAT in 8th grade, got a 2140. Took the PSAT freshman, sophomore and junior year, got 210, 209, and 221 respectively. I took the SAT in January and got a 2360.

Freshman year of high school I took the PSAT and scored a 1380. My first senior year test score was an 1850. Then I studied all summer and got it up to a 2280. A 900 pt. difference between senior year and freshman year scores. I am now going to attend a top 15 university, and I am completely unhooked. So the moral of the story is that if you really want something in life, you have to try your hardest to get it.
