SAT super score

Does Bucknell super score the SAT’s?

Please explain what " super score the SAT means" thanks.

Super scoring is taking the best score for each section (Math, CR, Writing) from multiple retakes and combining them, rather than just taking scores from one sitting.

yes, bucknell does super score sats. most other colleges do as well. i actually thought taking and combining all your best scores in each area was the standard.

A few even mix the SAT/ACT reports … Wash U in St. L, USNA, other SAs.

Whistle Pig: what do you mean; mix the SAT/ACT reports? I know that Wash U supercores both the SAT and the ACT individually but mix? Never heard of that one…Are you saying, hypothetically, that if your SAT CR/M are higher than your composite ACT, but your ACT writing is higher than your SAT writing, they will use that to combine and to help you??? and vice versa??

Yea, they take the highest from either test. SAs do the same.

In each section? Never heard of that…I know they will take your best score, SAT OR ACT, but I have never heard of mixing and matching across tests…Actually, makes my day if that is true…Forgive me, but what are SA’s??? Oh, NM Service academies???

Consider your day made. And there are some other places that I once knew but have lost, some like Wash U and the SAs, highly competitive.

rodney .. here you go … from Wash U website …

Thank You…Very sweet!!!

I know that Penn State UP does not super score for sure.

Dzirob33 is correct, PSU UP definitely does not super score.

Do any of the Ivies superscore? I wouldn’t think so, having read their web pages…

Columbia and Duke superscore

do the UC’s super score?
