SAT Superscore?

So I took the SAT two times. The first time I got a 2160, and the second time I got a 2170. My superscore, however, is a 2250.

I know this is a little low, especially since i am Asian and it's Princeton.

As the deadline approaches, I can't help but beat myself up for not taking it again to get my superscore above a 2300.

Also, will the fact that my single sittings are both less than 2200 affect me at all?

Someone, PLEASE console me in this difficult, stressful time.

Also, I applied SCEA. And my essays were damn well the best things I've ever written.

Just because you’re Asian you feel compelled to raise your SAT superscore a mere 50 points?

You trolls get worse every time admissions rolls around.

My friend got accepted the other day. Asian 2250. Don’t worry.

Considering that there’s not much you can do about it anymore, I wouldn’t stress about it. Just hope everything else was enough. SAT isn’t the only part of the application! :)

AZOG11 I am curious where your “friend” got accepted since admissions decisions at Princeton are not released until Dec 15.

^ Questbridge. One of my closest friend got accepted to princeton.

Your friend must be thrilled.

Everyone who’d still waiting…big breath, stay busy, try not to count minutes…

My friend got into Princeton via Questbridge too! So lucky!

Questbridge applicants go through an entirely different admissions process - comparing a QB applicant with a regular with applicant that have similar stats/ethnicity does prove much.

I myself have a superscore of 2270. But look at the CommonApp - that’s what your adcoms are going to see. There is no CommonApp slot for ‘total highest score’, only highest section. I think your main concern should be whether or not you have a respectable breakdown. Having 740-750+ in each section (CR included!) is much more desirable with a 2250 than having a 2300 with two high and one mediocre section.
