SAT Test/Writing Scores - Note section

Hi :)
Beside the SAT Test/Wriing Score, it indicates the date in which I took the test. I recognize that UIUC takes the highest cumulative score from all the SAT Is taken. Does the test date next to the SAT Test Scores matter? I took the SAT I twice, once in May and again in October, but the "Note" section says "Test Date 27-MAY-2007". However, I scored higher in my October sitting.
My writing score says "Test Date 27-OCT-2007"
My question is whether or not the test date matters in determining my SAT scores that the University will use for admissions.
Thank you!

Isn’t it possible to just put both test dates in?

In either event, both scores and their dates will be listed on the official score report they recieved from the testing agency.

If you really can only select one date, I’d choose the one that you scored the highest on.

^ I ran into a problem where my score reports were sent. However, they accepted a faxed report from Collegeboard.

The test date was inputted by UIUC, not myself. I agree with your thought on the highest date being put but sadly that’s not the case, so that brings me back to my original question on whether or not what UIUC indicated as my test date matters :)

For admission, they use that test with highest composite score. The posting on your on-line accessible file is not relevant to that issue as often what will show up there is simply first test that they record into the system and is mainly to show that a requirement for admission, the submission of a test score, has been met.

My son had the same thing on his application info, I called the admissions office and they have the October scres in hand sespite only shwing the March 07 on their website thingie.

thanks for your replies!
