So this morning I drove to my testing center 30 minutes away only to find out the testing center was closed. There was a security guard outside, who said he had waited since early in the morning and no proctors had shown up. There were several other families who came and were surprised to see that the testing site was closed. We checked on the collegeboard website and saw that there was a notification that the testing site had been moved to a location 1.5 hours away. There was no time stamp on this notification, so I have no idea when it was posted. When a testing center is moved, aren’t we supposed to get an email of some sort?
Has anybody else had experience with this, and is there a possibility of a makeup test? I was registered for the Math 2 subject test.
This is weird but College Board can make mistake. You should call CB.
I called and they told me to call back on Monday, as they were considering scheduling a makeup test. Just in case though, I registered for the October date.
Sucks though because it messes up my plans…
Definitely call them tomorrow asking for a free makeup date. Worst case scenario, you should be able to get them to give you your money back or give you a credit for the October date.
Hi, run into your post from google search. Did you get an makeup test? or anybody from college board contact you yet?
My daughter was supposed to take two SAT subject tests on Aug. 26; only to find they have NO materials for her to take the test. So I called so many times and they say a makeup test will be made but but nobody contact us. Each time I call I can only speak to customers service. College board really sucks, that’s all I want to say.
