College Board strikes again.

Naperville, IL schools notified 153 students this week that their SAT answer sheets are missing from the June test date and the students will have to take the test again.

Get a grip. Test scores get lost in the mail sometimes. It's just bad luck and nobody's fault.

Well, no I wouldn't call it bad luck. The College Board can't even say for sure if they got the tests or not. That's poor tracking, if nothing else. And if the College Board has had problems before with tests getting lost in the mail, they should be responsible enough to arrange for a more secure means of sending them.

Letting the kids retake the test for free at the next scheduled test date really isn't adequate. There are only a few times they can take the SAT and SAT IIs before their applications are due. Now one of them has been wasted.
