hey friends! I am currently a rising 11th grader that will be taking the SAT in late August. I am currently enrolled in SAT classes right now, but I feel like there are additional things that I should keep in mind in order to receive the best score possible. In the classes right now, we do practice tests and go over specific questions as well as general concepts that appear. To the people who scored well, what would you recommend? Whether its general to all sections of the SAT or more specific, anything would help!
GO TO THE BATHROOM AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY. I cannot stress that enough. Even if you don’t have to go, go. There’s nothing more uncomfortable than being stuck in a room, trying to focus, when you have to pee. If you have to guess, pick a letter and stick with it, instead getting all random with it. Other than that, I got nothing.
@ski_racer I’ve never taken the SAT before. Can you tell me how test day goes down, including when breaks come and when I can use the restroom? Also do the proctors give five minute warnings?
@xxluvforeverxx Check out the College Board website. I took the SAT a few months ago so it’s not all fresh in my mind.
