SAT to ACT conversion

hey, i got a 2200 on the march 2005 new sat test:

800m
710v
690w (yeah im a total idiot since i got an 11 on the essay but did crappy on GRAMMAR of all things!!!!)

what is my converted ACT score? 32? 33? 34?

I believe its a 33, not sure tho.

:)

(2200/2400) * 36 = converted ACT

^ where Converted ACT = 33 exactly.

:)

There exists at this time no valid conversion method between the new SAT and ACT. Such conversions are usually based on percentile rankings of scores and the SAT folks will not release percentile rankings for any of the new tests they have given as to the writing section and overall score until October. Relying on conversion charts you find on the web, all of which are based on the old tests and are themselves actually 10 years old (they all have their genesis in a College Board conversion comparison done in 1996 that was based on percentile rankings from the 1994 and 1995 tests) is an exercise in folly since most colleges themselves have not been following those conversion charts you find on-line for over 5 years.

I would go with Kriegz...that is how I convert mine.
