i know isn't that awesome, so if i screw up due to careless mistakes and retake they'll never know. Yay!

^ oh really ? tight!

I asked this question on another site but I will ask again since the topic is up. It is true that we can select the sat score to send to colleges? Like the ACT?

No - don't take a prep course. It would be a waste of money for you.
No - colleges don't care how many times you take the SAT. They will take your highest scores.

I would suggest that you take alot of practice tests (college board) and memorize alot of words (i used barron's critical reading workbook, and then sparknote, but most lists work adequately)
This got me to go from a 194 on the psat this year to a 2050 on my first SAT, then to a 2170 on my second SAT (giving me a 2210 Superscored). Even though you are obviously smarter than me, I would suggest doing this.
(*** gets a 2260 as a freshman)

Sorry to hijack the thread Stanford but you seem to have your answer (and mine to you as you're smart is don't do it if you have discipline)

I on the other hand have no discipline and am not as smart as you thus I am considering getting private tutoring by Princeton Review during the holidays for it. Do you people think its wise for me to get 25 hours one on one tutoring?

You already have a 2260 so chances are that you have a legitimate shot to get 2300+. Just self-study and save the $1000.
