which is harder?

The individual questions on the AP are harder, but it much easier to get a 5 on the AP than a 760+ on the SATII US History.

all i know is that according to my apush teacher &past students who took both last year, the sat is much easier. i'm taking the apush test next week &the history sat in june, so i shall see, i guess. 0.o

Good idea. That's what I did. And I do agree, the AP is harder in terms of questions. But the SAT II is a breeze if you know it well.

SAT II goes into specific detail.

ex: who wasn't a secretary of state?

sat - 760 ap -3

read a history review book over the summer tho before taking my sat and completely winged my ap test

We seriously need to know secretary of states? I'm glad I'm taking it in June...

yes, SAT US Hist asks picky questions, so you have to pay extra close attention to everything you read, not just the main ideas.

they also make you match up quotes with the person.
and such.

Yea the quotes killed me on the official practice test. I really don't know what to do about that -_-

hmm, glad i'm taking the sat II in june then...more time to study secretary of states "es, etc!

does the sat II have those really obvious wrong answers though? that would sure make things easier...

neither was particularly difficult... the sat 2 just asked more specific questions.

Thomas Dewey was not a Secretary of State.
(I got that right, although inadvertently. I thought Thomas Dewey was the Dewey decimal system =P)

Barron's 2008 FTW!

haha.
i believe i will fail the AP US History.
we have a terrible teacher.
and he was absent almost 1/4 of the school year.

.>

but i can make a 3, my dbq's and FR essays are off the chain i would say.
haha.
