SAT v ACT scores

<p>I got an 1880 on SAT and 29 on ACT. Im applying to Cal Poly, UC's Irvine, San Diego, Davis, and LA. should i use just my ACT score or should i report both?</p>

<p>What was your Math+CR? A 29 on ACT is about a 1300 Math+CR .</p>

<p>sorry but what is a math+cr? if youre talking about what my SAT math score was, i got a 670</p>

<p>Math+CR is your math score plus your critical reading score (ex 670 math + 600 reading = 1270 CR). Colleges care much more about this value than any individual score or the writing score (which they hardly care about at all).</p>

<p>oh okay, i got a 640 on critical reading… so my math+cr would be 1310… should i just send both the sat and act then?</p>
