<p>I've heard people say Stanford prefers the SAT.
My friend even told she was told that by an admissions rep.
Is there any truth to this?</p>

<p>No, they are given equal weight; Stanford doesn’t care if you send in ACT or SAT. </p>

<p>However, they do prefer (but not require) that you submit SAT II scores.</p>
