SAT: Verbal+Math or Verbal+Math+Writing Scores??

College apps are coming up soon.

My question: do colleges look at the scores of the first two sections more or do they care more about all three sections together?

Counselor says writing section still experimental, not as important as other two... but my writing > verbal... so yeah...

Depends on college:

(a) majority are still not considering the writing section at all and many of those are waiting to see what scores are over a few years time before deciding how to use it.

(b) minority consider it but of how much importance differs from its being important to being treated the same as an SAT II score to being given minor importance.

I know for Penn its all three; Georgetown, just CR and Math.

What about UW-Seattle and UIUC?

Do the Ivys count as A or B? I'm in the dark, here.
