I have like 56 days until the SATs in May. What is the best way to study for the SAT Verbal? It's definitely my weakest point!!!

I'm trying to reach 550 or 600 or 650 (Around this range).

Thanks!

read books/magazines/newspapers/etc on a regular basis

Newspapers are written for a 4th grade reading level. Seriously. Read classic literature, and study vocabulary. If you don't have a good vocab book at school, get a book called Word Smart. It has an SAT vocab hit list.

There is no "correct" answer to ur question, but some common methods include:

Reading books/magazines/newspapers/etc and summarizing the main point for the whole article, as well as for each paragraph/section.

Doing a lot of practice problems, using the "practice tests" books available through ur local bookstore.

Learning test-taking strategies (that are specific to SAT) by using the "SAT Prep course" books available through ur local bookstore.

Memorizing vocabulary

Forgetting that u have to take the SAT until the day of the test - getting plenty of sleep the night before, without "studying" for the SAT.

Some of these methods might work very well for u, some others might not. Just try something u like and see how that works out.
