Is it true that the Rutgers admissions committee is a little biased when it comes to standardized testing? I went to an admissions session and the admissions officer mentioned how the student has to do really well on their SAT's to get in but she rarely mentioned ACTs. Unfortunately for me, I am taking the ACTs only and I was trying to get into the Honors Engineering program. Online they only give me the prerequisites for SAT's to get into this honors program. When I try to find out what the ACT conversion is, the lady gives me a much larger ACT score. Online it says I need to get a 730 on my SAT math but for the ACT the lady told me I need to get a 33 on ACT math. Apparently a 33 on the ACT converts to a 770 on the SATs!!! I just wanted to know if anyone had a similar dilemma.

A 33 does convert to a 730 - a 35 converts to a 770
