SAT VS ACT Reading Passages

<p>I was wondering how similar the SAT Reading passages are compared to the ACT Reading passages. I'm not talking about the whole reading section, just the passages. I'm wondering if I could kill two birds with one stone with a ACT Reading book, improving my ACT and SAT reading speed and comprehension, and in the end a better Reading score on both tests.</p>

<p>The book I'm using is "Increase Your Score in 3 minutes a day ACT" if it matters.</p>

<p>SAT Reading actually expects you to comprehend a passage and understand syntax.</p>

<p>ACT reading expects you to quickly read through passages only looking for key words, kind of like a kindergarten word search. </p>

<p>SAT Reading > ACT Reading</p>

<p>You could do other way around. Use SAT book to prepare for both SAT and ACT.</p>
