SAT vs. ACT scores

<p>What are the SAT scores that are approximately equivalent to ACT scores? I know that people often do better on one than the other... But I was just curious about how the two line up.
(I'm from the rural midwest, so this whole SAT thing still boggles my brains a little.)</p>
