I've seen many people on here with high SAT/ACT scores. Which test do you think is better/worse or easier/harder? What score did you receive?

It’s an opinion, really…some people do well on the SAT, some do better on the ACT and vice versa. They are formatted a bit differently so not everyone will like/do better on the same test.

I like the SAT (2340 composite and 10 on essay) better purely because they have you write the essay in the beginning. With the ACT (35 composite but 8 on essay), they make you write it at the end after you’ve already been there a million years and your brain doesn’t work anymore.
Other than that, I don’t really see a difference. I never studied for the SAT, only the ACT, and I did about the same on both tests.

Kill them both.

I took the ACT, got a 35 composite, and don’t plan on taking the SAT at all. I like the ACT better because there is no wrong answer penalty. I’m one of those kids who can’t give up on a problem and will attempt it no matter what. So it hurts me more on the SAT than on the ACT.

Doesn’t the ACT have somewhat of a bell curve, though?

^
Why wouldn’t they both?
