Hey guys, any of you know if Penn will disregard one for another? Is there a conversion chart? I got a 34 on the ACT and a 2200 (1460 comp.) on the SAT I, I think Penn will ignore my SAT. Anyone know whatsup?

Penn says they do not prefer one over the other. I think this means that they'll look at whichever is the highest. There's no "official" conversion. A typical chart is here

Depending 0n who you ask a 34 is somewhere between a 2260 and a 2300, but everyone has it higher than a 2200.

Penn will also "count" the ACT in place of the required SAT II's so unless you have some impressive SAT II's you want to report, just send them your ACT only, so they are not "confused" by your lower SAT score.
