I know harvard excepts both but does it matter? I heaard the act is less prestigious than the sat but if you take the act it can set you apart from others. So does I matter?

Any admissions officer at Harvard will tell you they are treated in the same way. With that said, a 2400 is more impressive than a 36 composite score because of the fact that the 36 is an average and the 2400 is a sum. But in either case, the test score is very high.

Ok. Can I get some more insight por favor?

That’s pretty much the deal with standardized tests. They don’t care which one, just either do the SAT or ACT with writing and do well on either of them. Same goes with the three SAT II’s requirement - they don’t care which areas you test in, just do well (small caveats: don’t take a language exam for a language spoken at home and avoid taking both math level 1 and 2 if they are taken on the same test date or if level 1 is taken after level 2).
