Can anyone advise on the need to retake the SAT if applying after one semester in college? Are college grades the new objective standard for post high school applicants?
Thanks.

Considering that while SATs are touted to be "predictors" of how one will do in college (at some future point), as opposed to actual college grades that reflect how you have done in college (now and present), it would stand to reason college grades would supercede SATs..... I will add, providing you have taken the right college classes to report (thinking chem, calc, english lit.... classes that parallel the 1st year at USNA)....

I have not heard anyone retaking the SATs once college has started- which is not to say that some may have........to be sure, check with your BGO..... and do well with your college courses!
