<p>post #58, the difference between 2300 and 2360 maybe 1 or 2 questions. Would you admit one kid over the other because of 1 or 2 questions? The answer is probably NO. You have to rely on other factors.</p>
<p>All of these scenarios proposed are ignoring all other factors like ECs, essays, etc. And there is too much mutual exclusivity. In real life, if all of the X vs Y students applied, who is to say both X AND Y wouldn’t get in? Or perhaps they’d both be rejected. So calm down, guys: apply to a good mix of safeties, targets, and reaches, and hope for the best come April.</p>
