I'm applying for some top universities in your lovely country, however, while I guess my grades are good, 41 IB points. The SAT:s I'm taking this fall is really freaking me out, how important is SAT vs. grades and overall in the admission process? Can grades compensate for low SAT scores?

To a certain extent yes. SAT'S however are very important as it is a standarized method to judge college candidates because not all highschools are the same. It is best when you have both good SAT's and grades.

They are very important at top schools. Look for 2200 plus for top 20 colleges. International neeing financial aid needs stellar everything.
