SAT Watch?

I'm going to take the March SAT and I think it might help if I brought a watch to keep track time but I can't seem to find a silent watch that doesn't beep.

Does anyone know where I can get one or if the proctor would care if it beeped?

Walmart man.

Seriously. Nothin’ fancy over there

dOESN’T MATTER; YOU WILL BE DEFEATED!!!

Nah, but last time I brought one and she said put it away…maybe I just had a ***** tho

Before I took my SAT, I scoured Walmart for over an hour until I found a watch that didn’t beep. It was solar-powered. I then charged it overnight (by placing it under a light source), and in the morning, it was back to beeping. Turns out, it hadn’t been beeping because it was low on battery. When I got to the testing center, I asked if I could use the watch anyway and demonstrated the mild beep, but the proctor wouldn’t let me. I ended up taking the test without a watch, and I did fine. Moral of the story: Don’t kill yourself looking for a watch that doesn’t beep. Just practice with an analog clock.

I use a Timex Ironman watch, I forget the model number, but they’re basically all the same. Just use the chronograph instead of the timer to avoid a beep at the end. Or, you could simply look at the time on your watch when the proctor says to start a section, and just figure out quickly what time the section will end, then keep track that way.

It’s really not a big deal, and you don’t need to be accurate down to the last second, just have a general idea of where you are time-wise. I don’t think all that many proctors even keep time that accurately in the first place, I’ve had 30-45 seconds left over at what I thought was the end of more than a couple sections across the 2 PSAT, 1 SAT, and 1 AP administrations that I’ve sat for at my school. But maybe proctors at my school just don’t care.

Actually. Just realized I got my watch from jcpenney.

THEY DON’T BEEP.

and if you are a girl (or guy who likes to his watch strap to match colors with you clothes), you can also change the watch strap colour ;p

mine beeped when you pressed the start button. I sat in the front and it was fine.
