SAT weight? (+Lame chance thread)

So, I got my SAT today, and I really sucked it up. 2070 - 700W/690CR/680M. I assume it's too late for me to take it again. Is this going to screw me?

My ACT's a 33: 34R/34W/32M/32S. I'm taking it again saturday and hoping to break 34.
Unweighted GPA is 3.76/4, weighted is 4.9/5.

SAT2s: 730 Math II, 660 Physics (I learned that physics is not for me last year...the hard way...)

I'm half white/asian. I go to a public school in Chicago, IL...so I guess I'm an inner-city kid? :p My school is ranked #1 in Illinois. My school does not report class rank; it is possible to have a 3.5GPA and be in the lower 1/3rd of the class, so they just got rid of it.

All my classes were either honors or AP; by the end of this year, I'll have finished 9 APs (5 in BC Calc, I'm also an "AP Scholar"). I'm applying to the school of CS; I've taken CS1 (Java) and CS2 (Logic and Hardware Fundamentals); I understand that my school is one of the few in the nation that offers a hardware class, so I'm hoping this helps. I took a Robotics class at my school as well, and am currently taking a class on Motorcycle Maintenance (hard to explain ;p)

ECs:
Cross Country
Track (Varsity)
Lacrosse (Varsity Captain)
Jazz Band (Bass player - I've been playing for 5 years, have played at two well-known Chicago venues, and played with a couple professional musicians)
Asian Club
Ski and Snowboard Club
60+ hrs community service at my grammar school

I understand my chances were somewhat slim to begin with (not so hot SAT2 Physics/Math + other things), but will my SAT score mar my resume that much?

Thanks

you know CS at CMU is one of the top in the nation along with Stanford. CMU has its own school of CS. that quite rare to see because CS usually falls into something else like engineering or arts and sciece. At a prestigious place like this i think you have very low chances. this year is going to be the toughest year for seniors because of the baby boom back in 1990 and 1991. I’m sure bunch of people that are way more qualified than you will apply. The best thing you can do is raise the SAT score. The GPA is below average so it’s risky but if you get a really good SAT score who knows what will happen.

I’m sure people that are considerably less qualified than him will get in, too.

One of my friends that was a 4.0 student in SCS didn’t have any AP classes in his HS, but he still managed to get into CMU and do very well.

I would say that your low math score isn’t the best thing, though I did get around a 660M my first time taking it prior to bringing it up to a 790 my second time (didn’t study at all for the second, just had a really bad day or something the first time).
