Hi. I am going to be taking the SAT Oct 6 for the first time and I am a senior. I know that the first time probably won't be my best score so is it too late to take the SAT a second time? I am planning on only applying to CSU's.

I had a friend who took the sats November of his senior year, and was fine. aimed for local lower-tier schools; Salem state, umass Boston and Suffolk, among others, got into all of them from what I can remember. You should be fine. The opportunity to take it again is nice though; my score went up by a hundred points the second time I took it

thank you :)

All colleges say clearly on their websites the cut off dates. Worthy of checking, I’d say.

Before it’s too late, go ahead and sign up for the Nov SAT. Don’t wait til you get your Oct results.

Yes, check the dates on the schools’ websites…

Usually CSU and UC take the test score of as late as December. It’s past the application deadline (11/30), but their SAT/ACT deadline is December. Check your school of choice’s website to make sure:)
