SAT - Where to start?

If you’re scoring an 1100, then, uh. Yeah.

Buy the following books:

Princeton Review Cracking the SAT

The Official SAT Study Guide

Go through the first book (learn everything, including the vocabulary words), take the tests in the first book (under timed, real conditions), and then report back on your score improvement.

After the PR book, I suggest you go through the official guide. It has 8 tests made by the CB, so what you can do is basically take one test a week out of that (preferably on Saturdays in real-conditions at a library), and spend each week analyzing what you got wrong, looking up what words you missed, and such.

If you’re not lazy and follow this regimen, you should get a much, much better score (1800+).

Best of luck!
