So I just took my third SAT without the essay and some of my friends told me that this doesn’t count for UC’s and that I needed to take the essay. I already took the SAT with essay twice. Will my score count if I took the SAT with no essay?
UC’s want SAT with essay, so they will not consider your current SAT regardless of your score.

UC’s do not superscore, they will take the highest SAT score from a single sitting so that sitting needs to include the essay portion of the test.
