Hey guys !
I am an international student from Czech Repub. and doing currently the IB.
I intend to study in the States, but I have a few concerns about the SAT Subject tests.

I intend to do 3 of them.
1)Maths II
2) Biology ( I'm taking Bio SL )
3) World History.

Well number 3 is my problem, because I don't take a course in history.
So do you think I will be able to self study a whole one year course of World History ? Or should I take Germany, but I am fluent in Germany, since I was born there, but I do have a Czech pass as well.

Oh and I am taking italian ab initio, but I think I will be not capable of doing the Italian Subject test, I mean I am studying this for about 1 1/2 years.

And if I take the World History SAT, which book would you recommend, an AP text book ?
Or just a SAT World History ?

If you’re more comfortable taking the German SAT II, then by all means do so. I wouldn’t recommend taking the World History one if you have absolutely no formal course of study (as you have stated). There’s also the literature SAT II that you can take, and then you have a well-rounded SAT II list with a math, science, and literature subject.

If you buy a Princeton Review AP World History study guide and memorize the whole book you will do fantastically on the SAT II exam - I guarantee it. The key is just to read and re-read.

Well, it depends on whether or not you’re willing to do the work. I self-studied for the test from a Barron’s book and got an 800 on it, but that’s probably because I just enjoy History. So I guess it comes down to whether or not you’re gonna be able to put yourself through the workload.
