I'm missing about 4 to 6 questions on the 35 question section, and I really want to go to -0 or -1ish. How can I improve that? I don't have problems with SV agreement, parallelism, but a lot of my errors are when I picked E but its not or I pick something else but it should be E. Can you recommend a book? Also, is there any place online I can find practice problems for the writing MC? Thanks!!

The Official SAT Book by the College Board

Take the practice tests and see why you missed what you did, as well as why you got them right.

(But this has probably been answered a 1000 times on this forum!)

The E problem might be because you’re afraid to pick that last option. Go blindly, depending on whether it’s right or not. If you find yourself doubting whether you have too many B’s or E’s or not enough, you’re going to have to practice tuning those thoughts out. But yeah, find the topics you missed, and talk it over with your English teacher, he/she should be able to tell you what areas you need improvement on, and what you can study to improve your score. Take it from a Writing 800.
