infact i dont know how to calculate the writing section
in my score report i have a column for ( writing = 360) then another column for (writing sub scores , mulipchoice =38 and essay =04)
can any one help me and tell me how to get my over all writing score(i.e a score from 8oo) and what do they mean by ( writing = 360)</p>

CR 740
Writing 790 (10 essay, 80 mc)</p>
<p>Math 800
Reading 740
Writing 780 9 essay (the essay was because of a lack of conclusion)
Writing 720 11 essay</p>
<p>Well, the writing mc is pretty easy common sense kinda, but for the essay, you just have to be really organized--thats what they want</p>
<p>jokaking, that is not true...I know for a fact that they dont take off for a lack of conclusion, they grade holistically, you just need "closure" in your essay...</p>

Writing 770 (12 essay, 73 grammar)
Critical Reading 800
(2270... first time... not retaking)</p>

<p>How come everyone does so well for CR? I totally flunked it! 630! OMG! I still cannot believe it! I got 800M and 770WR (78, 9).... This is absolute madness!</p>

<p>I did better on the writing without studying for it. The less I thought about the sentences, the better I did it seems. I got a 690 in April with an 8 essay, and then a 770 in June with a 10 essay. I knew my essay could have been a lot better so that's why I took it again. The multiple choice just kind of took care of itself I guess.</p>
<p>Oh, and my other scores are 1420 (700CR, 720M)</p>

<p>I can't believe I got a 67 writing MC. How can I get a copy of the test? Or maybe hand regrading would help.</p>
<p>I thought I was going to get around a 750 and ended up with an 800. It was cool.</p>

<p>I'm not sure how I got an 8 on the essay in June. I guess I was just nervous since it took us nearly an hour to begin testing. It would have been neat to have gotten two 800's in a row, though.</p>
