I recently got my ACT scores back. I got a 34 composite with a 35 reading/english, but a 9 on my essay. On my SATs though, I got an 800 on the Writing section with a 12 essay (zero incorrect). Should I give both of these scores to colleges (I'm a junior, and my SAT score was 2240)? Will colleges see the SAT writing/essay and consider that along with my ACT essay? Is one of my test scores comparably better than the other?

ahaha. I got an 8 on my essay, making a 32 english/writing. This is disappointing.

Send 'em both in. Both are very impressive, neither will hurt, so let the college pick the numbers.

send both.

The ACT essay is harder than the SAT one.
