SAT Writing

so, many people seem to be relieved that the SAT Writing section will not be weighed as heavily as the other two sections, since the new SAT is new for everyone, including the admissions committee. am i the only one wary about this??? personally, my SAT Writing score was a lot better than my SAT Math score (yucky math yucky!!) i know for myself that language is my strength so it wasn’t a great surprise that my math score was the lowest of all three. so really, i kind of wish they take the writing into account more than they say they will. >.<

totally opposite for me.. im just glad writing's not in...

I wouldn't say writing "isn't in" The dean was very careful when talking about the SAT writing section in the msn interview. From my interpertation, it will be given as much weight as an SATII (which is significant) but not as much as verbal and math. Writing won't kill your application, but it could hurt or help it

so glad it's not given as much weight... imo, it would look better to have a 1500 sat I and like 750 750 650 sat II's than to say... i got a 2150 and 3x 750's
