SAT Writing

Well I've taken the SAT Writing three times.

First Time
a 54 MC & 8 Essay = 550

Second Time
a 55 MC & 8 Essay = 550

Third Time
a 51 MC & 11 Essay = 570

So my MC was the best on the second time and my essay was the best the third time. Do colleges "superscore" these subscores ? Do they even look at the SAT subscore portion ? Or do they only look at the 570 ?

I hate that I scored lower on the MC. Lol i didn't study for writing the first and second time. The third time I did 10 essays and got feedback from PR, and I did study for MC and it really upsets me that I scored poorer even though I studied. :/

bump bump bump

Don't worry most colleges don't give that much imp. to writing.
I don't know for sure but i think that the whole writing score is considered as one and is not superscored btw the essay and mc.
I got 630 when i gave it in oct and got a 720 this time in dec.. My best friend got a 800 in writing straight her first time.
In the practice papers you do- what mistakes do you think you repeat?
That made a lot of dif. in my case.

Well this was my third time so it is my final one. I just worry cause I'd really like to go to the University of Richmond, and according to

Richmond wights the Writing portion equally. My final score was 1900, which is good, certainly not Harvard material but still. On a better note I am applying to schools that do not consider writing and I had a 1330 between CR and Math, which is pretty good.
