i saw that mit wants the sat WITH writing???i thought that they didnt consider writing.can any1 help??

The link to MIT's testing requirements:

MIT Admissions: Standardized Test Requirements

You'll notice they require either the SAT Reasoning Test with the writing component OR the ACT with the writing test. Neither test is preferred --

One difference, however, is that, in the SAT Reasoning Test, the writing component is an integral part of the test. i.e. if you sign up for that test (at least since spring 2005 or so), you will automatically end up taking a writing test, along with math and critical reading tests.

If you take the ACT, however, you have to sign up for the writing test as an additional item.

ACT Writing Test

As for how much the writing section figures into admissions decisions -- that I obviously can't answer -- but it's a required part of the freshman application, so one would assume it's taken into consideration.

So, has MIT said that they definitely won't consider SAT writing?

This thread from two weeks ago ought to answer your questions.
