SAT Writing?

Do top colleges like Yale consider the Writing Section of the SAT. I've heard a lot of people say that that section doesn't matter.

top colleges, i assume includes Princeton as well.

this might help

According to Yale admission FAQ on the website, Yale requests College Board to send essay along with the scores.

Ew, I didn't know they could do that.

Yes, I called Yale and was told College Board would send Yale the complete score report with essay.

Darn, my essay was crap..hopefully my application essays are better :x

lol... I always got 12 on my essays... always screwed up on MC. I could never get grammar correct to the point of perfection. (This probably explains why I use so many ellipses instead of proper punctuation. :) )

OMG!
seriously

Yale is hardcore... they see everything for the test you choose to send :O

That's too bad.

how does doing extremely well the first time (770) and badly the 2nd time due to a proctor not giving five minute warnings (690) reflect on an applicant?

^ Well… my SAT score dropped from 2nd attempt to 3rd… and I got in.

My Critical reading dropped from 800 to 710. I didn’t know there was a next page… and left four questions blank. :(
