Sat?

I hear that SATs are optional for IC, How would that affect my decision if I decided not to send?

If your SAT scores are good (or better!), send them as supporting information. If they are not so good, don’t bother. A great SAT/ACT score can also help with scholarship money (along with a high GPA of course) - except in the case of music students, whose scholarship $$ are completely dependent on their audition, as was the case with my daughter, who did submit her very high SAT and ACT scores and had a very high GPA and class rank, only to find out those stats did her absolutely nothing for her in the way of academic scholarship money, she only received music scholarships (whereas the other schools she applied to she gave her both types of $$). So I guess I’m saying if you’re applying to the school of music, don’t bother sending them no matter how high they are. Good luck!
