bestwestin. I too will have 11 AP's at the end of this year. But like they say, Academics alone don't do it, no matter how high. I'm with you, we'll be happy come March, don't worry.

Hey boston, have you decided whether you will opt for Harvard or USNA? I'm experiencing similar choices as well (although it's not Harvard) for transfer and I really don't know what I should do.

hey green09, how are things going for you?

haven't decided anything yet...i seem to go back and forth everyday. next week is my february vacation, so i am going to spend three days at Harvard with some NROTC kids, (beginning with an 0530 PT workout for all Marine-option midshipmen!). so i'll be able to see the military side, but also the academic, athletic, and social parts. my 'guide' told me i can pick any classes i want to visit, and as i'm poring through the course catalog i'm just melting with awe at what i can take if i go there...of course that only makes the decision more difficult. but i think that once i see what it's like to be a ROTC student, i'll have a much better way to weigh my options. ROTC combined with the classical studies i want at Harvard just might be my perfect combination. then again, i could hate it while i'm visiting, which would push me to USNA with no regrets.

i'll let you know how the ROTC visit goes, since that's what you're considering as an alternative to USNA, right? What schools are you looking at?

-shawna :-)

Hey,
I'm deciding between USNA, Georgetown SFS, Northwestern, Michigan Ann Arbor and UPenn, all with possible NROTC option. I wish I really had time to go to campus visits since I'm sure that would really help me make an informed decision, but I haven't any time and I have to just make a call from my gut instinct. A school that really calls my attention is UMich, I want to go to their Ross School of Business and would love to pursue 4 year NROTC there. But I really really don't know

that's great; those are all such awesome schools. please let me know what you end up doing, since this is such an important decision. good luck!!
