sat ?!

lol, I just got my scores:

M: 770
CR: 770
W: 610

Math and CR is fantastic (I think), but W is a bit low. Will this hurt me?

Nope ,I don't think so. You got good M and CR scores. I actually scored 20 less than you (M 730/CR 750/ W 650). There is something fishy about the writing scores. Everyone is scoring low.

most unis barely look at writing

I think unis see the overall score....

Yeah, I hate writing. I mean, I think it's really, really easy to do the sentence improvement parts. However, the finding-the-error-in-a-sentence part is pretty hard, sometimes, at least for non-native speakers...
Anyway, I don't care that much about SAT scores anyway.

They see the break-down.

"There is something fishy about the writing scores. Everyone is scoring low."

Where did you get that from?
I've got a 760, and I've heard of many people with scores in the 700+ ranges...

severel ivy league schools (includign columbia) dont count the writing at all. emory only uses it if a persons got a ridiculously good essay but a 400 on the writing section of his sat.

The writing section is easy, in my opinion. if you read much, you'll realize the mistakes, even better than natives who are too accustomed to English to spot errors. I got into the 99 percentile (750; 8 essay; MC: 79). yeah, the essay killed me.

CR: 720 M: 750.
