Sat

If you take the SAT but then take the ACT....can u only send your ACT scores if they are better.....or if you take the SAT does it have to be sent

also....can u send SAT 2s without sending SAT 1

You don't have to send your SAT scores in if you take the ACT but unfortunately you cannot specifically choose to send your SAT 2s without sending the SAT 1. When collegeboard sends your test scores, they send all of them.

I was also wondering, because the first time I took my SAT i got a 2240 but the second time i took it i got a 2130 because I was really sick and the proctor screwed up the timing for the essay which I think hurt my score a bit. Yale would still only look at the 2240 and give me the benefit of the doubt right.

Does Yale specifically require SAT IIs????

I know Harvard and Princeton require 3 SAT IIs, so if u took the SAT I, you have to send it to those schools

What about Yale?

This year Yale changed its SAT2 requirement from 3 to 2 SAT2s.

so SAT 2s must be sent?

the act with writing is not sufficient?

<a href="http://www.yale.edu/admit/freshmen/application/testing.html%5B/url%5D">http://www.yale.edu/admit/freshmen/application/testing.html</a></p>

i'm not sure that the site is saying that SAt 2s are required

If you have the ACT with writing you DON'T have to send any subject tests.

so what ivy league schools and other top business undergrad programs (ie. nyu stern, umich, emory, villanova) do not require SAT 1 or 2s if you have the ACT with writing?

it would be a great help if i could know which ones
