Would a 2050 (750M, 660 CR, 640 W) be at all acceptable at Bowdoin?

Good lord yes!

really? it's seemed so meager compared to some other scores...

Alas - Radannie probably isn't 100% accurate.

Your math score is superb - it would place you slightly above the 75th percentile at Bowdoin.

The other two scores are not so good:

Your writing score falls somewhere below the 25th percentile while your CR score is just above the 25th percentile.

Here are the Bowdoin ranges for the middle 50%:

CR: 650 - 740
M: 650 - 730
W: 650 - 730

Bottom line is that your scores are acceptable and your math score is very good so if your academic interests incline in the direction of the sciences and/or math (and your application will show that), you might want to submit your scores even though the W and the CR scores are not that strong.

i got the same (combined) score and didn't send them in....granted my scores weren't as lopsided (and i didn't want then to see my horrible satiis), but i agree with above that if you like math and science send them in.

thank you for being honest!

I did not submit my 1980 - 670r 640m 670w. It's really extremely weird to me how I scored that because math and science have been my best subjects...and I'm really quite horrible at English.
